Welcome to Austin Mowers online, Austin Mowers is a family run business, established in 1961 by my father and run successfully by him alone until 1980 when I joined the business. We worked together for about 15 years when he retired, I now run the business, for my sins, on my own. The main bulk of the business is lawnmower repairs, servicing and sales (new and reconditioned mowers). To complement the lawnmower repairs etc I also sharpen garden hand tools such as shears (long & short handled), secateurs, loppers and chainsaws. I also sharpen knives for various butchers, restaurants and private customers, along with saws, chisels and circular saw blades for builders, carpenters and again private customers. 300 Garratt Lane is located about halfway between Wandsworth and Tooting, approximately 300 yards from Earlsfield railway station going towards Wandsworth, easily accessed by car, train and bus.
